The venue is laid out in a way that makes the day run naturally, with each part of the celebration flowing into the next. You can have your ceremony outdoors, enjoy a relaxed drinks hour on the terrace, and head straight into your reception without needing to travel. It gives you more time to enjoy the day without worrying about logistics.
One of our favourite things about Rochford is how well it captures—especially at golden hour. The vineyards are absolutely stunning in the late afternoon light. Just before sunset, the whole landscape glows in soft gold tones that look amazing in both photo and film. Sneaking out of your reception for a moment of quiet in the vineyards to get those sunset shots are always some of the most memorable shots of the day.
From a creative point of view, the variety around the property is a big win. Beyond the vineyards, the Barrel Room offers something a little moodier and more dramatic, while the tree-lined driveway gives us clean, timeless shots with a bit of movement and fun. Everything’s close by, which means no rushing or missing out on canapés while we’re off shooting portraits.
